Home

I hope that 2011 brings all people a safe, warm place to sleep, food enough to eat and share, work for hands and mind, and love to give and receive.   Everything is temporary -- sadness and happiness alike, none stays.  No matter the sorrow or pain, I know that we are blessed and lucky.  Happiest of new years to all visitors to this space.

Dearest Elizabeth...I'm sorry I've missed your last few posts...beautiful thoughts of solstice, and your birthday poems (I love poetry and loved these so much, despite or perhaps because of how very sad and true they are)...Thank you for your very kind comment on my blog recently - it was so sweet and as I read it on my way home from work I felt your friendship and thought of how wonderful it would be to meet you. I wish so much that Will were still with you and Liam - you have so much love to give him still and it seems so unfair that he is not there to receive it and love you back...but at the same time I know your love for one another surpasses all of this and I trust that he is still there, holding you both and keeping you safe.
Thinking of you.
Love,
Maddy

I think about you every day, and I just wanted to say I am sending love to you with every breath.
Today, there is ice on all of the tiny branches, and wildly flying clouds
pure beauty
