The little owl had a good Halloween. Small parade at school -- lovely. Then a walk up and and down our street with the neighbors (cat and falcon). I'll post on making the costume some time in the next week, it's a keeper. Thank you to GoGo and Grandpa for walking around with Liam and me and to GG and Grandma for staying home and handing out candy and cleaning up the kitchen!

Thinking of you every day. I know how seasons can be hard as hell after loss (there is no real 'after' I don't think, it is as if Loss is more of an atmospheric constant. it just is).
Liam 's costume is incredible,
his kitten story made me cry
and you, sweet E, are kind and strong.
A friend and I were talking about a different kind of loss (his marriage is failing) and I said remember to put your own mask on first. I meant oxygen, but I don't see why it could not be cat, mouse, owl...
take care of your wonderful bighearted self.
I've got a gluten free pumpkin bread recipe that is The Ultimate, so I will eat some and think of you. That and ginger peach tea.
freezing my butt off here in NH
but sending warm love
